I'm in my second year at Truman State University. I am studying business administration to earn my bachelor's degree in the subject with a concentration in supply chain management. I've always preferred small group learning, which is where my most successful learning occurs. As a student, I formed small study groups to support us all in our academic goals. Through this experience, I developed a goal-oriented tutoring style that strives to help each student achieve success on their tests. Though I have helped others prepare for a variety of exams, I prefer the ACT, primarily due to the material it covers. I also find that the test-taking strategies that are necessary on the ACT are relevant to future real life and academic areas. I find that these skills build their strength and confidence in their ability to succeed. I also enjoy tutoring students in algebra, micro and macro-economics, and business. As an instructor, I use their current knowledge as a foundation. Each session is used to strengthen and build upon that foundation at a pace that works best for them. Aside from tutoring, I enjoy playing video and table top role playing games. I enjoy playing frisbee and spending time with my friends.
