Experience
I grew up with parents who were constantly explaining how everything worked in simple, easy to understand, and extremely thorough ways. So, I'm also constantly explaining the whys and hows of things to everyone around me. My friends say that every day with me is a learning experience. In undergrad and in graduate school for my Ph.D. in quantum physics, I tutored other students and taught classes. Now, I am teaching classes at churches on how science and the Bible work together and on other Bible related topics. I always try to make the lessons easy to follow and understand even though some of the concepts are complex. One time, one of my students exclaimed, "I've heard this all my life, but when you say it, it makes sense." I'm always tutoring my friends' children and I'm always helping them with their homework. I love teaching and encouraging others to understand and learn more and more. So, I believe that tutoring is a good fit for me.
