Experience
I attended the University of Missouri in St. Louis, where I received both a bachelor's and master's degree in elementary education. I am a certified teacher with qualifications in early childhood education and elementary. I currently work at a private school, where I teach in the elementary grades.I enjoy tutoring elementary math, English grammar, pre-algebra, reading, phonics, social studies, English, and history. I also help students prepare for exams, such as the ISEE and SSAT. I strongly believe that every student learns in a unique way, therefore the teacher must teach his or her lesson in a manner that accommodates the student's needs. I feel very passionately about teaching, and I find it extremely rewarding to watch my students develop a greater understanding in the subjects I have taught them.When I am outside the classroom, I try to spend a lot of time around my family. I also enjoy reading, photography, and playing games.
