Experience
I'm a certified teacher who lives in St. Louis. I have been teaching for twenty years in both public and private schools. While I've primarily taught Spanish and language arts in school classrooms, I have quite a bit of experience tutoring students in a variety of subjects, including phonics, reading, grammar, English, essay writing and editing, history, and social studies. I'm also qualified and comfortable in coaching students in both speech and drama. I've worked with students from pre-kindergarten through college via the educational program I helped design for Worldways Children's Museum. My goal has always been to work as team - student, parent and tutor - to achieve educational success.I have a passion for public speaking and theater. I use both mediums to educate the public about the mission of a non-profit organization I helped found for our mentally ill citizens. Our mission is to get the word out and to assist the mentally ill in receiving necessary treatment. Besides theater, I enjoy music and sports, and I have even written a book!
