Experience
As a tutor I specialize in helping students with language, particularly Spanish and English. I also tutor in reading, writing, and literature. I can assist students with standardized test prep as well. I have my master's in Spanish from Saint Louis University and I'm in the process of getting my Ph.D. in Spanish and Comparative Literature. I also have a degree in Slavonic Studies from the University of Oxford. My experiences teaching Spanish to university students and English classes in Spain have equipped me with the skills to effectively and successfully help students succeed. I'm able to tutor in both groups and individual sessions. I'm aware of the diversity of learning styles that student's bring to the table, and as a tutor I make sure to accommodate each person's needs. When I'm not tutoring I love to travel, immerse myself in different cultures, study language, and practice yoga.
