I have always enjoyed my teaching experience and find it to be full of rewards. My teaching career has changed a bit, however, since I started staying home with my infant son. It is my goal to continue my excitement of teaching through tutoring. As a teacher, I look forward to working with each student. I am very enthusiastic about teaching, and I like to look at each student's needs and help them individually to meet their goals. It might mean we review what has been taught already and then practice, motivate, or just repeat the concepts. I look to have each tutoring session turn into an experience that will overall help a student reach his or her goals!My teaching experience has included elementary and middle school grades. Additionally I have worked with middle school students in special education settings, including CWC and self-contained. In the 2008-2009 school year, I was named the City of St. Charles School District's Outstanding Middle School Teacher of the Year. My tutoring focuses on math, English, reading, writing, grammar, special education, and study skills. I love to take care of my son, cook, cheer on the Cardinals, and go on walks with my dog.
